Eligibility

The Medford Housing Authority  is responsible for ensuring that every individual and family admitted to the public housing program meets all program eligibility requirements.  The family must provide any information needed by the MHA to confirm eligibility and determine the level of the family’s assistance.

There are several factors that determine if someone is eligible for public housing or not. Your income, criminal history, immigration status, and past rental history are all considered.

The MHA’s Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) details eligibility requirements and is based on state and federal regulations.
